Hey! My family and I decided to go for a walk in a forest, to see the bluebells.
Here are some photos I took on our walk.
As a teenage girl, there is no better way to have fun and catch up with your friends than a sleepover.
Here are some tips for having the best sleepover possible.
Hi! Are you looking for some app recommendations or want some new games? If so, keep reading.
Some of my favourite gaming apps are Sandbox, Rolling Sky and Dancing Line. Sandbox is a colouring app. In Dancing Line the aim of the game is to tap in coordination with the music.
For blogging, one of my favourite apps is Pinterest. It is great for inspiration which is important for a blogger. For contacting my friends I like Instagram and Snapchat. To video call I use Skype.
To learn languages I use Duolingo, an app that gives you the option of taking several language courses. I have a language translator, a quiz app and for music, I have an interval ear trainer app.
Some of my other apps that come under no particular heading are – a King James Version Bible app, Youtube and various photo editors.
Life is like a camera. You focus on what’s important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives and if things don’t work out, take another shot.
Be kind, for everyone is fighting a hard battle you know nothing about.
A grateful heart is a magnet for miracles.
Throw kindness around like confetti!
Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. That’s why inventors put erasers on pencils!
Impossible is just an opinion.
Believe you can and you are halfway there.
When it rains look for rainbows when it’s dark look for stars…
How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.
You will never have this day again, so make today count.
Here are some of my top tips on how to stay organised.
If you make to-do lists you know exactly what you have to do and when you have to do it. As you tick off every task or activity it gives you satisfaction and you know you have completed your goal, and then move on to the next job.
That also links to another point – choose the 3 most important tasks and do them first. These might be ones with a deadline eg. homework or essays. Everything else will just fall into place and this means when you have them done you can do the less important ones, which may be the ones you enjoy more.
Do it NOW. If you know you need to do something and if you do it while you remember it will be done quickly and you are less likely to not do it or forget. This keeps you on track and on top of your schedules.
If you change your routine every once in a while it keeps you interested and you won’t get bored as easy. This can help with motivation and makes the jobs you have to do more fun.
Colour code. This is probably my favourite tip! Colour coding my timetables and calendars help me remember my appointments and deadlines. (It also looks prettier too)
Label EVERYTHING. At a glance you know where something is, or where you should put something. If you have to think of where you put something every time it wastes time when having a big tidy up or clean up. It also is handy if you try to tidy as you go (one of my other points) which in the long run is a good idea.
While tidying, if you notice something that you no longer use or wear, donate it or bin it (if it is broken or no longer works). This eliminates the clutter of things you never use and it is pointless for you to keep them.
Whiteboards are great for writing down quick notes when you think of them so you don’t forget a job or chore you have to do. After you complete the task all you have to do it rub it away and reuse.
If you don’t already, you should purchase a diary and a calendar. This makes sure (if you keep it updated) that you won’t miss or forget important events, appointments or deadlines.
See you next time, good bye!
Heya! Welcome back.
Today I have for you a poem that I made up, as I thought it was just right, as it was what this website originated for.
Summertime brings lots of fun,
Sweets and treats for everyone.
Spending days at the sea’s side,
Screaming on the rollercoaster ride.
The scent of freshly cut grass,
Sunbathing, time to pass.
Licking on a cold ice-cream,
Living life’s best dream.
No time to think of school,
Floating happily in the pool.
Sleeping in till 12 o’clock,
Going on country walks.
This is why I love the summer,
As I am a sun lover!
Ever think your outfit needs a wee add-on, or something is just missing from it? Here are some simple, subtle ways that seem obvious but maybe someday might just help.. you never know!
First off, the easiest of all, a nicer pair of shoes! Don’t just throw on your trainers, maybe a pair of ankle boots (for winter, autumn) or sandals (for spring, summer) would be nice!
Now, if you are a bit like me, you have a wee box of bracelets in your room but you never really reach for it.. but just grabbing a bracelet could make your whole outfit look like you put more effort into it than you actually did.
Another easy one is to do a nice hairstyle, or just different than you normally would go for (See my previous post for some inspiration).
Next, we have a jacket or something to put over your top, so you can take it on or off if you feel like a change throughout the day!
And last but not least, you could do your nails. Even just slapping on a couple of coats of nail polish could brighten up your whole look! They don’t even need to be fancy, just as long as you like them.
Hope you enjoyed and this can help you,
Hello again xo
If you are like me, the perfect night in is being snuggled up in PJs, face mask to the ready (See the previous post) and a movie on the TV.
I have A LOT of favourite films but I thought I would share with you all a few. (They aren’t in any particular order by the way)
Those are just a few of the movies that I love, hope next time you are in the search for a new DVD this might help😊
See you next time!
Hey, Y’all! Welcome back to my website.
Today I thought I would write about some of my go-to skincare products.
Nivea Soft Moisturising Cream
This is my everyday moisturiser. Some of the benefits are that it contains Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E. You can use it for your face, body or hands so it is really great to take if you are travelling, and a bonus is that it isn’t that dear!
Zoella Double Créme Body Cream
One of my favourite things about this body cream is its smell. It smells DIVINE.
One the back of the tube it says :
“Treat yourself to a dollop of indulgence with this macaron scented body cream: Enriched with nourishing sweet almond oil, cacao and honey, it will leave your skin feeling beautifully soft, silky and smelling irresistible. Gently massage into clean skin until fully absorbed for a soft fragrant finish.”
Doesn’t that just sound heavenly?
Creightons Charcoal Detoxifying Clay Mask
This claims to:
This face mask leaves my skin feeling silky and smooth and advises use around 2 times a week. A big plus is that you can purchase for a really great price. I purchased mine for 99p! Also, there is a matching cleanser and scrub but I haven’t got them.
L’oréal Age Perfect Night Hydrating Cream
This cream claims that it is an “age” perfecting cream, but I think it is great when your skin is dry and just needs a rehydrating boost. However, I wouldn’t advise it with people with more oily skin, as it is so hydrating and creamy itself.
Simple Micellar Cleansing Water
This is one of my go-to makeup removers. It also cleans and cleanses your skin – perfect for a simple night time routine. It is good for sensitive skin as it is gentle and feels just like water but works as well as any makeup remover. It says it has no “harsh chemicals’ which is always good and kind for your skin.
Zoella Winter Wonder Hand
winter but the scent is good for all the year round, unlike other Christmas hand creams. It contains Peony and Mint and smells so fresh and yet cosy at the same time. It is really good for dry hands or just if you want a subtle gorgeous scent to sniff all day!
Hello again 😃
Today I thought I would share some of my favourite hairstyles for school or just day to day life. I would call my hair medium to long length, so my hairstyles are based along that!
1. French plait
This hairstyle is very easy to do, yet it is very effective. It is like an upgrade from a simple plait. The technique for doing it on yourself is hard to master but if you keep practising I am sure you will get it.
2. Top Bun
In the photo below the bun isn’t that high up on my head but it is still nice. This is a quick, easy way to get your hair completely out of your way for day to day or school. It doesn’t need to be perfectly neat, as you can see from my example mine isn’t. This look is created by simply putting your hair in a ponytail, twisting is round and fastening it with kirby grips.
This is one of my favourite ways to wear my hair. I achieve this look by after having a bath/shower at night put my hair in a couple of simple plaits and leave them in until the morning. This makes your hair look voluminous and wavy and I just really like it!
